Exclusive: Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, and now Jupiter. It’s the new Juno probe. The next space mission to Jupiter.

There was once the biggest project that NASA funded to get more information on Pluto. That’s old school. We are now looking at something else bigger. I mean literally it’s bigger in size and it’s bigger in Science.  Here’s the biggest challenge though. How to build a probe that can withstand one planet’s greatest threats. The Juno probe is the next step in science and engineering.

The Atlas V rocket carrying Juno was launched on August 5th, 2011 and is now looking forward in meeting our our friend, Jupiter. The mission has already been launched at Kennedy Space Center, and all the NASA officials are scrunching their eyes towards large computer screens showing a plethora of information, 24/7. Recording information on paper, phones, or anything that they appear to have in hand. Watching and watching every single day for a small sight of Jupiter.

Carefully engineered by NASA scientists. The Juno spacecraft was a project that had a budget of $1.1 billion. With careful scientist, resources were used properly and had a bill of $700 million. The Juno spacecraft was named after the Roman god Jupiter’s wife, so you can see the big connection. This space probe was launched with the Atlas V rocket that was designed in a special way to withstand the harsh radiation out in space. The probe is around 4,000 kg, including all the equipment that was added on top of the probe.

Now on the specifications on the project: The Juno probe is expected to reach into Jupiter’s orbit around July 4th, 2016, and in the beginning stages of the transport it will run on kerosene and liquid oxygen to give it some boosts. After that Juno will have to run on solar panels to get the lithium ion batteries charged for the big project. I guess that day we’ll have 2 celebrations, Independence Day and Jupiter Day. A wait that will take 4 years really isn’t that long compared to our Pluto project that will reach Pluto in 2015. After Juno reaches the orbit, Juno will have to stay at least 2,672 miles away from Jupiter to prevent being sucked in by it’s gravity immediately. Juno and the Atlas V rocket will have to stay in the outer orbit. 33 orbits around Jupiter and we just pray that the probe won’t be pulled in completely into Jupiter’s orbit and be crushed like a pancake. 1 more year of orbit. Why? Well each one of the orbits take 11 days. So, you can do the math. 33 x 11 = 363. That’s more than a year. The project is planned to conclude on October 2017 and the probe is planned to be sucked into the orbit of Jupiter and be destroyed or eliminated if you don’t want to say it that harsh.

The Juno probe has basic goals and some of them are to observe Jupiter’s  gravity field, magnetic field , and polar magnetosphere. Juno will also be looking at the physical features of the planet and is ready to get information in which if Jupiter has a rocky core and see how fast and other information on Jupiter’s wind. The increasing wind speeds and severe hurricanes of Jupiter make it interesting to know more on it and Juno has instruments to record that information too. Juno and the NASA scientists will be keeping a eye on Jupiter for any signs of water at all. Though one of Jupiter’s moons, Europa has evidence of having salt water, which is a step closer to evidence of extra-terrestrial life. After all these objectives that Juno has to complete, it will begin to get more into Jupiter’s orbit and then eventually get sucked into it’s orbit, and you know the basic process, it gets crushed like a pancake, again.

Atlas V, the rocket carrying Juno will make history as it approaches Jupiter which is just a next step in the mysteries and unknown of the deep, dark abyss of the space that is unknown.

Fun Fact: On board on Juno, there’s 3 LEGO mini figures that are taped to the probe to represent Galileo, Jupiter, and his wife Juno. These LEGO pieces were made out of aluminum to prevent radiation damage and the survive the outer space. There is also a plaque that gives dedication to Galileo on his discovery of the planet Jupiter. These 2 facts are pretty cool.

Suse Studio: The best way to make your own operating system!


Sorry for the big break, but this website was shut down for a wail due to a big maintanience break. Now to the point. Are you someone who hates programming and wants to find a way to create your own operating system? I think there’s a solution to that.

Novell has created things for your schools security and now they have made something that can help you create an operating system within your own web browser! Just sign in and begin to create your own OS. Just add you programs that you want to be pre-installed and then configure you settings within the network and other things and then you’re set. You have created your own operating system.

I, myself, have tried to create my own OS by taking my time with various programs until I had finally found Suse Studio. I then became setting off of script working and use this program to create my own Linux based OS. You can find this at

I have created an Operating System and have been working on the Kiwi OS and Luminous OS. Both are based on different platforms where one in on JeOS and the other is on a GNOME platform. Both are based on a Linux platform and are really cool. I’ll put the download for Kiwi OS soon on the downloads page so don’t forget to check it out.

Finally, I Can See the Light!

I can see it, I can finally see the light! The dark and gloominess of the blind side has finally been light up with a new discovery. For once blindness finally has a cure. Scientists have finally found a cure to blindness by conducting many tests. There are now 2 ways for the cure to this hardship. 1: The right gene. Having the right gene to get the eyes working again was one solution to cure the blindness. Another way was to remove the stem cells of the eyes and then let it reproduce and get it working again and then insert it back into the patients eyes. This was probably the best cure, because you repaired something that was broken for a long time. Within weeks patients would be able to see again. Just imagine that, Helen Keller! We can finally let you see. Just the problem is that the deaf problem won’t be fixed, I’m sorry about that.

The eureka moment was great for the scientists that had had this notion for this problem. Finding out what is making the problem is probably the first step in the cure. The idea. Then comes in the action. After that is the testing. And then finally, there is the conclusion. The blind now have a cure. Once the stem cells or the gene is inserted back into you eye. You won’t immediately get you sight back , but you’ll get it in a few steps. First, the identification of the shape. Then the specifics of the shape. Then finally, we have the color the fills up the shape. This will probably take from days to weeks.

The process will take a while as the stem cells repair the eye or as the gene fits in place and fixes up the retina and cornea. Once that process has been completed then you can finally see. Yeah, it’s feels good to see again. Just imagine all those other projects that companies and colleges have worked on, creating instruments to help your hearing and sight. Now all that stuff is pretty much useless unless you’re a billionaire that has enough money for this type of treatment!

The Path of the iPhone Generation. What’s next?

The first television, the first computer, the first program, the first internet, the first OS system, the first media device, the first ever smartphone. Then, there’s the first ever iPhone. Wow. If you sit back and look at that timeline you’ll be amazed. Humans are smart. We can do all sorts of things. From the first human to the first ever iPhone. The first ever iPhone was released just in 2007. It wan’t just soda that was cool. It popped and fizzed on it’s very first arrival to the world. The people behind it: Apple Co.. The company that was once just sitting down and creating computers had created this. This revolutionized the Apple market. From computers to phones and media devices. Next there will the holographic TV and after that….god knows. The iPhone, the iPhone 2, the iPhone 3, iPhone 3GS (OR 3.5), then finally the iPhone 4. Trust me there will be a iPhone 17GS by the time I’m even in college. So much has happened in all these years. It’s hard to even talk about what is even going around with Apple.

The first release of the iPhone brought in AT&T’s interest. This is what Randall F. Stephenson (CEO of AT&T) though, “I’m going to beat you in signing that $%$^ contract Verizon! After I sign this you’ll be screwed and I’ll buy you just like what I did to Cingular, they never lived after our domination!”. Verizon: ” Woah  hey there Mr. Stephenson calm down the world is not going to end, K? You signed that contract happy?” That’s what kinda happened there, but anyway Verizon signed a contract in February 2011 with Apple. Both carriers made a lot, but after Verizon was a carrier, more and more and more people bought the iPhone 4. I guess that saying was right, “2 heads are better than one”, well for Apple at least.

The new iPhone is really attractive ,but lately some people are still having trouble with the signals. The new iPhone 4’s engineering put in the signals on the border of the metal outlining. Well, people while holding the phone have been blocking that signal so all the calls are being dropped. Apple solved that with giving out free bumper cases for the recent edition. The fixed the problem later on with new editions of the model. With all the cool gadgets, Apple is making cash with spendthrifts money. Apple has really, really low security on their device. Have you seen a BlackBerry hacked, no. All of Apple’s devices has had low security due to all the cool features. People could easily hack into your device and get some information about you, or you could just jailbreak your device. Apple has lost A LOT of money just because of this one reason. The company that should’ve been making money in billions of dollars, is only making millions due to jailbreaking and getting apps and other features for free through cracking and leaking out a bunch of information. If you haven’t also noticed multitasking is probably (I would say) the worst type of feature. For one part a lot of RAM space is being taken over by just this multitasking and it’s slow, bugging and really really weird. If you haven’t heard all ready the BlackBerry Playbook is new competition with the iPad with amazing features and great multitasking. Back to the subject. The iPhone doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. Just some new features and attractive looks that all people think of. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Apple just has some horrible security. Just to tell you, before the iPhone 4 ever came out. It was already leaked into the internet. Horrible for Apple because after the leaked information people already knew how it would look like and the features. Just imagine, it’s like Steve Jobs on his iPhone Expo and he is like, “We have finally come to a point where we have a phone with retina display and amazing graphics, with a new look. It’s the iPhone 4!!!” Audience: “‘chirp’ ‘chirp’ We’ve already heard of it!” That’s pretty sad because there is not suspense in that at all. Even after that people knew how the new iPod touch was going to look!

Although Apple has all those disadvantages. The money is what their even here for. Apple probably created FaceTime so it could persuade you to buy a new Apple device. If you haven’t heard of it. FaceTime is this new app that Apple created so that you could call friends who have  the new iPod touch or iPhone and you could use the camera to communicate. All really cool! Requirements: iPhone 4 or new iPod touch. Wow. That could a lot of people’s attentions. Including some of my friends. “WOW! I could call all my friends and use the camera that’s sweet!” Oops you forget the “requirements”. That’s a pretty good market strategy for Apple though. I have to give that to them.

With the years to come bye Apple should still have a tank full of ideas to be used. I just hope that there is enough for this company to stay alive.

I Command You to Do As I Do!

I’ve always dreamed of those robot characters in Zathura to actually think on their own. To me robots are just retarded space equipment, because they do what you do. To tell the truth thinking on your own is not that easy when you go to your brain. You have nerves and brain cells floating around and doing stuff. Back to the future kiddo, we’re not with Frankenstein anymore!

This idea is known as Artificial Intelligence (AI). If you’ve played game like Halo and other sci-fi games then AI bots should be familiar to you. They are robots that can command and do things that whatever they want to do. It’s not that simple when you think about artificial intelligence. How do you make a person think in different perspective. You can’t code all the things in the world in a zeta byte or terabyte. There are so many things to learn in the world and you can’t program it all to one memory chip. To have AI, you need to see the secret behind how we think, how we talk, and how we learn. All the problems in this should be solved easily when you have the idea of what’s going around in your brain. You can’t copy the exact same blueprint of the brain and construct your own. The brain has billions of little cells that have a mind of their own to perform specific tasks. I have ideas on how to figure some of this stuff out. 1st thing that comes in mind is an autopsy. This way we can find some parts of the brain that we have never hear a and seen. What we can do after that is then figure out what it functions. For that we’ll need a volunteer. But in this same idea. We may have found all the parts in the brain and may not be able to zoom in microscopic size to see everything that we may need to see.

The big big problem that we are concerned about is the obvious. It’s the money. How much money would we spend for this big project? Would it be worth it? Will we get any progress? All we can do so far is just to program robots. ASIMO was probably the biggest step in this generation with a robot that has it’s own cameras to determine what to do, where it is and send functions up to is brain to see how. To see how. That is a big step. If we can get an AI chip to get working. To see how, we’ll be able to create a robot that will be able to learn and think on it’s own. Military could use these robots to protect the people. Just imagine how useful this could be. But more robots could mean more power. If someone got the hands on the robot and changed it’s system they could do anything they could ever imagine with the robot. I don’t think that would be good, so that’s definitely off of the list.

Now Toyota is in the business of robotics. They have recently developed a robot that can carry people around when you speak to it and they have developed another robot that actually play the violin.

Robots and AI have been a big idea, to do things that you want it to do, or to do as I command. Simple as it is, robots and AI are definitely the future for us.

Technology: The Future for 3D

In my recent experiences with the Samsung 3D TV with those glasses. I didn’t really like it. Let me reason why. For one fact using those glasses can give you eye strain and I’m really not used to watching 3D all the time so if you take off the glasses it looks all blurry. While using the glasses, your eyes tingle because you’re not used to it. I was sitting down with my dad’s friend and watched a FIFA game with those Samsung 3D TV glasses and the whole game wasn’t even clear. Also it took a REALLY long time for my eyes to get used to it. For one part the future for 3D TVs etc. is very unclear for the future.

People are more used to 2D and yet if we change to 3D, it won’t be that easy to do. Though the good part about is that more people want this type of technology for entertainment. Especially the 3D TVs without glasses. For one part, using 3D can strain your eyes giving you BIG, BIG headaches. We need to find a solution for that. It won’t be easy because our vision can see 3D but not all around without moving. When it comes to watching TV with 3D effects our eyes only take it as the X and Y coordinates. Not X,Y, and Z. For one fact we can’t just use both 2D and 3D for our lives. We have to choose one and stick to it, or our eyes just might go BAD. Even TV companies have given out notice to never watch 3D TV if you don’t feel good or if you’re drunk. It just might turn your life completely upside down. Go to:

Enough with the cons lets go to the pros. Making a 3D TV is a BIG accomplishment in Technology and will affect the future thinking about the use of holograms. Major companies have started the production for 3D pictures too. Just imagine 3D pictures. We could use those to stop thieves and other problems in the world. We could find the license plate of a car that has been stolen. Maybe even 3D recording can come into place. With all that guess what all the things that could be used for good or misuse. Sony has even also started a project of a 3D camera that literally captures the full 3D of an object. You can even look around the object that you focused on. Another thing is that you can view it with 3D glasses. This should be a major leap in technology. The Future for 3D is pretty much unpredictable. With people who prefer and people who don’t prefer it. Chances are 3D won’t live that long, but if it dominates our technology then we will have no choice ,but to follow it to the future.

Let’s go back to opinion. After the new release of the Nintendo 3DS, i’m guessing that if this can keep up, then 3D will be the next generation for us. 3D movies have already made a biggie, but now having one at your house or maybe everyday? That makes a big, big difference for us. There’s pretty much nothing we can do to stop innovation and the evolution of the future, but for one thing that I know 3D devices and TVs will pretty much have control over the Tech. world. With already a big progress for the future I’m sure that 3D will be new type of hype in the future.
